DESCRIPTION: 

2K HIGH PERFORMANCE CLEARCOAT is a versatile, user friendly medium solids 2 Pack clearcoat for professional automotive refinish. It offers a tough, durable coating with excellent gloss and film clarity. It is great for overall vehicle refinishing, and can be used for spot repairs by changing hardener speeds.Can also be air dried, low back and I.R. cured.

USES:

Suitable for use in basecoat / clearcoat refinishing systems using oven low-bake, or infrared curing.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS:

l     D3100 2K High Performance Clearcoat.

l     D3100S 2K High Performance Hardener (Slow, Medium, Fast).

l     D-X1 2K Uni Thinner (Slow, Medium, Fast).

l     2K Accelerator.

MIXING RATIO:   

Mix 2 parts by volume of D3100 2K High Performance Clearcoat with 1 part by volume of D3100S 2K High Performance Hardener (Fast, Medium or Slow).

THINNING:  

Thin the mixed material with approximately 10-20% by volume of the appropriate D-X1 Uni Thinner (Fast, Normal, Slow). Stir well.

APPLICATION:  

Apply two or three single wet coats allowing a flash-off time of 10-15 minutes between coats.

Ensure that the 2 Pack Hardener is tightly resealed after use in order that reaction with moisture in the atmosphere is prevented.

For best results always maintain the recommended thinning ratio.

SANDING / POLISHING: 

Use Superfine Grade paper to remove imperfections such as runs.

If polishing is required use a specially formulated non-burnishing cream.
